On behalf of the Minority Development Department, Government of Maharashtra, applications are invited for admission to the Minority Girls’ Hostel (run by the Government Institute of Science, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) for the academic year 2026-27 from female students studying in various colleges.
The seat distribution is as follows:
- Minority Category (70% of total seats – 70 seats):
- Muslim girls: 35 seats
- Buddhist girls: 21 seats
- Christian girls: 06 seats
- Jain girls: 06 seats
- Sikh girls: 01 seat (each)
- Other Categories: 30% of total seats.
Application Process:
Interested female students can obtain the application form in the prescribed format from the office of the Minority Girls’ Hostel or download it from the institute’s official website (listed below) starting from the date of publication of this advertisement.
The completed application form must be duly signed and stamped by the Principal of the college where the student has secured admission. It must be submitted to the Minority Girls’ Hostel office during office hours (10:30 AM to 05:00 PM).
- Application Form Distribution Period: 01-07-2026 to 20-07-2026 (until 05:00 PM)
- Last Date for Application Submission: 20-07-2026 (until 05:00 PM)
Note:
- If the annual income of the parents of a minority category student is less than ₹ 8,00,000/- (Eight Lakhs), their admission fee will be completely waived.
